Meet Max
Max helps the staff at the HealthPartners pharmacy increase patient safety and convenience. Max is a pharmaceutical robot that is filled with 200 of the most common drugs. Once a prescription is entered into the pharmacy’s computer system, Max finds the specified drug and verifies it using a bar code scanning system. The vial is filled with the specified dose and is labeled complete with any recommended warnings.
Max can count, bottle and label a 30-count prescription in 30 seconds. Max gives pharmacy personnel more time to work with physicians, answer questions and educate patients.
