Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO)

An MSHO plan combines your Medicare and Medical Assistance (Medicaid) benefits into one plan – at no extra cost. It also provides extra perks and benefits when you need them, plus a care coordinator to help guide your health care. Our MSHO plan is available in 12 counties in the Twin Cities and central Minnesota.

HealthPartners is a health plan that contracts with both Medicare and the Minnesota Medical Assistance (Medicaid) program to provide benefits of both programs to enrollees. HealthPartners is also a Cost plan and PPO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in HealthPartners depends on contract renewal. In the State of Wisconsin, the Medicare Cost Plan is jointly and severally offered by HealthPartners, Inc., and HealthPartners Insurance Company.

Every year, Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-star rating system.
